FIA WEC

Logistics that goes the distance

The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) is where some of the world’s most outstanding drivers defy the odds to compete a battle of endurance. Racing for between six and 24 hours, drivers relay the world’s fastest cars around iconic race courses from Silverstone and Nürburgring to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez and Le Mans. Recognizing DHL’s longstanding experience and expertise in the area of motorsports logistics, they appointed DHL exclusive Logistics Partner of FIA WEC shortly after the series was launched in 2012.

The race behind the scenes

WEC is all about speed, perfection and endurance

We know that we could not be placing our championship’s logistics in better hands than DHL’s. They have a great understanding of what is required to move a racing series around the world, and provide a faultlessly efficient service to our competitors, our partners and ourselves.

WEC CEO

WEC is all about speed, perfection and endurance

DHL has been involved in motorsports logistics for more than 30 years. The task of the DHL Motorsport Logistics and Events team is to ensure everything is in place, ranging from organizing and booking airfreight charters, ocean freight and trucking to handling all the documents, coordination and supervision on-site to the management of all ad hoc shipments. This season DHL will carry out 22 charter flights transporting 2,100 tons of airfreight and 250 TEU sea freight.
