Competition Terms and Conditions.

DHL Manchester United “Shirt Delivery” competition. UNITED. DELIVERED.

Win one of 100 prizes with DHL Manchester United “Shirt Delivery”. Prize categories:

 

  1. 1. 1st Prize: 100 x prize packs, including:
  1. 2017/18 Official Manchester United FC home shirts with the recipients names printed on the back. 50 winners drawn at random will each win a shirt for themself and the Twitter handle they tagged in their valid tweet; and
  2. A VR headset.

 

  1. 2. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. By entering this competition, all participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

  1. 3. The promoter is DHL Express Global (“DHL”) of Fritz-Erler Strasse 5, Bonn 53113, Germany.

 

  1. 4. Employees of Deutsche Post DHL, its subsidiary companies, agencies working on behalf of Deutsche Post DHL and their families are not eligible to win prizes.

 

  1. 5. “Shirt Delivery” is open to participants of all ages. Please note: you must have a valid Twitter account to be entered into the draw for the “Shirt Delivery” prize.

 

  1. 6. The promotion period for “Shirt Delivery” prizes is between 11am (BST) Wednesday 7th June 2017 to 11.59pm (BST) Wednesday 21st June 2017, inclusive. DHL reserves the right to amend the promotion period. The promotion period is subject to change.

 

  1. 7. Winners of the prize are drawn at random by an independent supervised individual.

 

  1. 8. Winners of the prize will be drawn on Thursday 22nd June 2017.

 

  1. 9. To enter this competition, entrants must complete a valid entry. A valid entry includes; following on Twitter the DHL Manchester United Twitter stream (@DHLManUtd), posting a tweet which includes one other Man Utd fan Twitter handle and the hashtag #DHLUnitedDelivered.

 

  1. 10. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

 

  1. 11. By signing up and taking part in “Shirt Delivery”, all entrants are deemed to have granted DHL permission to use their name and Twitter handle on DHL owned social media platforms, in the event that they are a winner. An announcement of the winners may be made on the DHL Manchester United Twitter stream (@DHLManUtd). Names of the winner(s) can also be requested by emailing hotline@dhl-activate.net.

 

  1. 12. 50 winners will be drawn on Thursday 22nd June 2017 from all valid entries. The 50 winners and the Twitter handle which they tagged in their valid tweet will win the prize.

 

  1. 13. The 50 winner(s) of the “Shirt Delivery” will be notified via direct message on Twitter from @DHLManUtd by 12pm (BST) on Thursday 22nd June 2017 with further details about how to claim the prize. The 50 Twitter handles tagged by the 50 winners will also be notified via direct message on Twitter from @DHLManUtd by 12pm (BST) on Thursday 22nd June 2017 with further details about how to claim the prize.

 

  1. 14. To claim the prize, the winners must respond to the direct message sent to them, by 12pm (BST) on Saturday 24th June 2017. The winner must provide the following details to the Promoter by 12pm (BST) on Saturday 24th June 2017; first name, surname, shirt size, name for personalization, delivery address and contact number. In the event the claim for a prize is not received by the Promoter by 12.01pm (BST) on Saturday 24th June 2017, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement. No responsibility can be taken for claims which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.

 

  1. 15. The prizes are non-transferable and no cash or credit alternatives will be substituted for any prize on offer. In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, DHL reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

 

  1. 16. DHL reserves the right to publish the name of the winner or to publicize any prize giving presentation or announcement after the date of the competition.

 

  1. 17. The Promoter is committed to protecting entrants’ privacy. Any personal information supplied by entrants will be used and processed by DHL or its associated group companies solely for the purpose of administering the competition and for supplying the information to third parties appointed to administer the competition. The personal data provided is held on secure computer and manual files and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.

 

  1. 18. All Prize-winners unconditionally agree (as a condition of accepting any prize) to: (a) the use of their name, one or more photographs of themselves and disclosure of their county of residence; and (b) co-operate with or participate in any other reasonable post-Competition publicity by DHL.

  1. 20. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavor to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

 

  1. 21. DHL reserves the right to void the prizes at any time and change the conditions.

 

  1. 22. DHL reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any prize if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this competition.

 

  1. 23. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions, or where entrants are found to be abusing the promotion in any way, will result in disqualification.

 

  1. 24. DHL shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting DHL’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of its employees or contractors.

 

  1. 25. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the competition, the decision of the Global Sponsorship Manager at DHL is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. 26. These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
