THE WORLD'S FASTEST LOGISTICS RACE

For Formula 1 racing teams, one of the biggest battles throughout the season is already over before the cars roll out for Friday’s first practice: The vast logistical operation required to get all of the teams’ cars and equipment to the circuit – a behind-the-scenes effort we like to call the logistics “race behind the race.”

Hand in Hand with FOM Cargo, DHL navigates the complexities of this race as F1’s Official Logistics Partner. And it’s a long race, too. Nowadays each team travels around 160,000 kilometres (100,000 miles) between races and test sessions each year.

With 30 years of experience, DHL’s partnership with Formula 1 performs like a fine-tuned, turbocharged power unit - an efficiency level absolutely vital to a series that races one weekend in Kuala Lumpur and the next in Bahrain. As the cars cross the finish line on Sunday, our team is gripping the steering wheel in anticipation of the logistics challenge ahead.
