DistriGreen 2017
A number of journalists were also given an insight into the work of DHL Express France on Thursday when the official logistics partner of Formula E invited them to an exclusive media event. During this event, apart from speaking about DHL’s partnership with the fully-electric racing series, an innovative, brand-new project in the French capital was also discussed: DistriGreen 2017.

At the moment, DHL Express France is in the middle of planning DistriGreen which is to be implemented in 2017. The aim of this project is to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases of its deliveries over the final kilometer by setting up logistical spaces in private car parks, for example, around the capital. These car parks would serve as facilities for storing and sorting parcels which will then be delivered by electric vehicles. By 2020, 100% of all deliveries will be made in a thoroughly green manner.
