FC Bayern and DHL are back in 2016!
Just like last season, FC Bayern Munich started the new year with a training camp in Doha, Qatar to get ready for the second half of the season. And, just like last year, DHL was on hand to transport the team’s gear from Munich to Doha and from the airport to the team’s hotel.
With a successful training camp behind them, Bayern came out strong in the first Bundesliga match of the season on January 22, winning 2-1 on the road against Hamburg.
Now that the ball is rolling again in 2016, we’re excited to share some of what is in store for the rest of the season:
- Bayern have made it to the knock-out stages of the Champions League and first face Juventus Turin on the road. That match is scheduled for February 23, and DHL will be with Bayern every step of the way, transporting the team’s gear from Munich to Turin and making sure all the equipment is in place for Bayern’s first Champions League match of 2016.

- As the excitement builds toward another potential treble – winning titles in the Bundesliga, Champions League, and German Cup – die-hard fans of FC Bayern Munich will no doubt be looking forward to another big event at the end of May: the unveiling of next season’s new home jersey. We know from experience that Bayern’s fans in China will be more eager than ever to order the newest jersey on the FC Bayern Flagship Store on Tmall Global, and our eCommerce team will be working with Bayern once again to make sure those new jerseys go out as quickly as possible.
- Finally, stay tuned to DHL InMotion in the coming weeks for a special announcement regarding FC Bayern’s Summer Tour 2016. Last year we accompanied the team to China – where might we go this year?
