London Fashion Week SS16
London Fashion Week opens this week hot on the heels of the Spring/Summer 2016 collection showings at New York Fashion Week.
With new venues on Brewer Street, Soho, the five-day fashion extravaganza promises to please as dozens of the world's top designers showcase their ideas for the coming season.
Joining nearly 80 other designers on the official schedule, DHL Exported Cycle 1 winner House of Holland will surely surprise with a vibrant and colorful show on September 19. Over his 13 seasons at #LFW, Holland has become something of an anchor, drawing in celebrities and global admirers to each catwalk event and this season, he provided three unique T-shirt designs that have quickly become a uniform for the fashion jet set.
Also on schedule is Marques' Almeida, the design duo recently named one of four recipients of support from IMG Fashion and DHL as part of the second consecutive DHL Exported Program. DHL Exported provides the designers with logistics and marketing support as they prepare to take their brand abroad, in this case, to the Asian market with two catwalk shows Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo in 2016.
