A fixture for the past 50 years, Andretti Autosport transcends the sport of auto racing. The team fields multiple entries in the Verizon IndyCar Series, the premier open wheel racing series in the United States, and also campaigns multiple cars in Indy Lights. 2014 will see Andretti Autosport enter the ground-breaking inaugural FIA Formula E Championship season alongside partner DHL.
Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the team has well over 100 race wins to its credit, boasting four IndyCar Series championships (2004, 2005, 2007 and 2012), two Firestone Indy Lights titles (2008 and 2009), one USF2000 championship (2010) and two Indianapolis 500 checkered flags (2005 and 2007).
In 2013, DHL sped into the new racing season as full primary sponsor of the Chevrolet piloted by 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series Champion Ryan Hunter-Reay. Ryan, who drives the No. 28 DHL Andretti Autosport Dallara Honda, recently won the Iowa Corn Indy 300 at Iowa Speedway on July 12, 2014 in Newton, Iowa.
